6 Best Blog Niches

What are the best blog niches?

Building a website that will actually make you money can be difficult. You will need to create content that caters to a specific group of people in order to gain a good following. You need to figure out your niche. A niche is your target audience. Coming up with a niche that fits you, and will draw an audience will be one of the most important things you do as an affiliate marketer. Make sure you are knowledgeable about your niche before deciding on your subject. You will need to create informative content around your niche, so if you don’t know about it then it will be difficult to create content that people will want to read. So what are the best blog niches? I’ve created a list of the ones I think will draw a larger audience.

1.) Fitness Niches

If you’re a personal trainer this niche is perfect for you. Use your knowledge to help others lose weight or bulk up. If you aren’t a trainer, but have had success at losing weight, or bulking up, start a blog that shows others how you did it. People love real life success stories. It keeps them motivated. And… EVERYBODY has looked for a way to lose weight. Provide those people with information that will actually help, and they’ll keep coming back for more, and that’s what you want. You will also make pretty good money through your affiliate programs, by selling products that are related to weight loss or bulking.

2.) Fashion Niches

People are always looking for fashion tips. If you are a fashionable person, you should share your style with others. You don’t have to be a fashion expert for this niche. You can just show what your favorite fashions are for the season. Create reviews for fashion related products that you have tried. Have others share their fashion ideas with you. The possibilities are endless with this niche as far as affiliate marketing.

3.) Cooking Niches

Do you like to cook or bake? Do you have some tasty healthy recipes you’re willing to share? If so, this is a great niche to play with. Many people search the net for quick meal ideas everyday. Or they look for recipes that will satisfy their sweet tooth. And you know those that are looking to lose weight are also looking for healthy meal ideas to help them out with their weight loss efforts. Make sure to stay in your niche zone, though. You don’t want to put healthy recipes on a site with sugar filled desserts, or carb loaded dinners.

4.) Beauty Niches

Do you have some awesome make-up tips to share? Start a website that showcases make-up application tutorials. Review beauty products that you’ve used. If you’re good at doing hair, make some tutorials to show others how you got your hair to look so fabulous. There is so much you can do with this niche, and it should make you some money with your affiliates. Just be sure to create quality content no matter what your niche is. This niche will also be great for posting videos. Video marketing is probably the BEST way to promote anything. Your subscribers will definitely keep coming back if you’re posting great videos.

5.) Product Reviews Niche

Everyday, people are shopping for something. Most people, however, look for reviews of a product before purchasing. Your blog can be the place people go to get honest reviews of products. You can review books you’ve read, movies you’ve watched, tools, appliances, and electronics you’ve used, the list goes on. This niche is especially great for affiliate marketing. Sign up to be an Amazon Affiliate, start reviewing products that you’ve used, and recommend the best products using your personal affiliate link.

6.) Games Niche

Right now, one of the most successful niche websites is one that allows users to trade links to gain friends, game tips and advice, etc. If you play a specific game, and you know some great tips or other advice, this would be a great niche. Use your knowledge of the game to build a following, sign up with Google AdSense,  Amazon Affiliates, or other affiliates, and make some money. AdSense will automatically show ads related to your niche, or ads that are related to searches your subscribers have made through their browsers. For example, if they’ve searched for computers, it will show an ad for computers.

There are many great niches to choose from. Just make sure you are honest, knowledgeable about your niche, and that you create quality content. Content is key when it comes to gaining followers or subscribers.
